Mirakles in our office

We have recently begun using the services of a special kind of courier company in Mumbai. Mirakle Couriers employs only deaf people for all its operations -- from the delivery boys to the office staff.


A 'social business', Mirakle Couriers was founded on the knowledge that deaf people are intelligent and capable, and it’s only society that has labelled them as useless and sidelined them. As a result, people with this disability are rarely able to find dignified jobs that can sustain them. This is despite the fact India has one of the biggest deaf populations in the world.



Mirakle Couriers aims to give deaf people a chance at dignified employment. It also wants to put out the important message that employing a deaf person does not hinder success. And Mumbai Smiles is proud to say that we are also now on their client list.
