We're basking in the joy of organising a health camp that was a resounding success yesterday!
As we told you in last week's post, the general health camp was organised in Phule Nagar, Powai, which is a community that we have recently started working with. Naturally, the Mumbai Smiles team was there in full force to help out and keep things running smoothly.
Two doctors were there from 10 am to 4 pm and and did general health check-ups on 470 residents. We got great feedback from the community with many people telling us that this was the first time they had ever been able to get a free checkup in their locality. Others told us that the atmosphere was so energetic, with so much activity, that it was almost like a wedding.
Needless to say, we're thrilled that our efforts made a difference and we promise, many many more such events in the future!
